WAS it with a brave smile or with gritted teeth that the Mayor of Ribble Valley, Chris Holtom, was pictured unveiling a plaque at the new occupational therapy unit for patients at the Kemple View secure psychiatric hospital at Langho?
For when he did the honours, he saw himself described on the inscription as "Counsellor Chris Holtom."
Perhaps he will counsel whoever was responsible for the slip that he is a councillor, not one of the ever-increasing army of advisers to the stressed.
