RANGERS B team were very strong. The opening goal came from Connor Langfield, George Lake scored from a free kick; the other goals were from Tom Smith, Josh Brady and a second goal for Connor Langfield.

THIS game was end to end from the start. Blackpool Rangers took their chance well with Andrew Pennington converting from a pass from across the box. This lead seemed to spur Clifton who came back with an equaliser, which caught Blackpool Rangers offguard. Clifton led 3-1 at the interval. Blackpool Rangers came out after the break and showed passion with a great passing move seeing Tom Langwade placing the ball under the keeper. They were unlucky to see Clifton lead 4-2. Bulldog spirit from Blackpool saw Mark Williams on his toes to strike a rebound which hammered the net, bringing it back to 4-3 with Blackpool Rangers looking for the equaliser. Clifton broke again scoring in the last couple of minutes. Man of the match was Tom Wanderwall. LOSTOCK HALL U12s 6 BLACKPOOL RANGERS 6 (aet)
THIS second round LFA cup tie was a thriller. Despite leading twice Lostock fought back to draw level only for Rangers to regain the lead to go in at half-time 2-3. A disastrous start to the second half saw Lostock take the lead 4-3, but Rangers made it 4-4. Lostock again restored their lead to make it 5-4 before a superb strike brought the teams level again at 5-5. In the first half of extra time Rangers took a 5-6 lead which they held until two minutes from time when Lostock levelled yet again. Lostock won in a penalty shoot out. Man of the match was Jamie Hardman.

BLACKPOOL Rangers were underdogs, but showed the visitors they had a tough game on their hands. It was 0-0 at half-time, but with ten minutes to do Dean Brightman used his incredible speed , went past the last defender and put the ball in the back of the net. Man of the match for Rangers was Chris Brown and the goalscorer was Dean Brightman.
