A MAN who had been attacked in a pub in Lancaster produced a five-inch knife as paramedics rushed him to hospital.
He was picked up by an ambulance crew near Dalton Square having sustained a cut to the back of the head. In the back of the ambulance he produced the folded knife and talked about getting revenge on the man who had attacked him.
He did not threaten the paramedics but they notified the police and the man was later arrested and charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
