A LANCASHIRE firm is hoping to enjoy the sweet smell of success by selling cut-price perfumes over the internet.
Simplyperfume, which operates its dotcom site from Heywood, near Bury, provides genuine fragrances at discounted prices.
Steve Sealey, former chief executive of Skelmersdale firm A M Paper Group, has invested in the perfume firm and joined the board as a non-executive director and "business angel" to give expert advice on how to boost sales and profits.
"I've always wanted to invest and help some of those guys who are in the same position as I was: a good idea, an identifiable market and a willingness to work hard," said Mr Sealey.
The perfume market in this country is £750 million this year, most of which is sold through high street shops and department stores.
