READER Stuart Logan was spot on in his views on the treatment of British pensioners (October 5).
In fact, I'm still waiting for the land "fit for heroes to live in!" That was promised to all service folk in the 1939 War. No longer am I patriotic!
Governments treat all non-Brits better than their own folk, pandering to their every need, while ours struggle and shiver, trying to balance their financial pittance of a pension and whether to eat or keep warm.
