I AM presently researching a book about the War in France (1940). As part of this research I have been trying to locate and interview ex-members of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF).
So far, I have managed, with the help of local newspapers, to interview 13 such veterans.
I would be most grateful if you could publish my request in a suitable column of your paper.
Any veterans who fought at Boulogne, Calais or Dunkirk would have the sort of experiences I am looking for.
