ACCESS For All seeks to interest ther public in developing the finance in support of an incentive grant for small businesses and post offices.
Our work in the community and also in the current research for a special needs guide has highlighted the fact that the owners of small businesses, post offices and shops are not responding to the requirements of the law to create or improve access to and through their premises.
Disabled people are also at a disadvantage due to lack of understanding of the problems they encounter in daily life.
The finance could be made available in the form of 10-15 per cent incentive grants through either the Federation of Small Businesses or the Chamber of Trade.
