BASHARAT Ditta is to become an associate partner with leading Lancashire law firm Forbes Solicitors. Mr Ditta, a member of the criminal law team based at Northgate, Blackburn, has been with the company for four years.
Partner Michael Blacklidge said the appointment marked Mr Ditta's outstanding contribution to the development of the crime department in Blackburn. He said: "Mr Ditta's enthusiasm is infectious and his efforts have been recognised and appreciated by colleagues and clients alike."
Mr Ditta, 30, was educated at Billinge High School, now Beardwood, and St Mary's College before going to Trent University and completing his legal practice course.
He said: "Forbes Solicitors is a dynamic organisation with a reputation for providing quality legal services. To be made an associate partner is something in which I take great pride."
