NEARLY two thirds of North West export companies do not have foreign language skills despite the fact many believe this puts them at a disadvantage.
The latest research from Lloyds TSB Commercial shows that only 39 per cent of exporters in the region use foreign languages in their business.
Among the firms that do use their multi-lingual talents, German is the most popular, followed by French, with Spanish and Italian jointly in third place.
