HOUSEHOLDERS in Rossendale will be receiving a free composting bin as part of Lancashire County Council's "A Greener Strategy for a Greener Future."
The units can be used for garden and kitchen waste, ensuring less household waste ending up in landfill sites. The scheme is expected to be up and running by Easter next year.
