A PARISH hall was transformed into a big top when an autumn fair took on a circus theme.
Stallholders and children dressed up as circus performers at St Silas's Centre, Preston New Road, Blackburn and 10-year-old Hannah Clough won the prize for best-dressed clown.
Rose queen Danielle Oddie and her retinue opened the fair and the event raised £630 for the church with further donations promised.
