Prescot RU 38 Runcorn 5
TWO long-range interception tries by full-back Tony Bullock were the highlight of an excellent Prescot performance in difficult conditions.
Runcorn actually opened the scoring with an unconverted try but the home side hit back to lead 10-5 at the interval with the first of Bullock's touchdowns and a conversion and a penalty goal by number eight Chris Leigh.
And after the break it was one-way traffic as Prescot rattled up a further 28 points without reply. Centre Norman Millington started the ball rolling with a try and others followed from substitute Pickering, Bullock and man-of-the-match, scrum-half Kilgannon, all converted by Leigh.
