LSH Ladies 10 Lichfield 22
THE LSH ladies put up a determined show against league leaders Lichfield on Sunday in this hard-fought game.
The home side dominated the first half but were unable to turn this into points and Lichfield scored first from a well-organised counter attack.
LSH equalised when excellent work by the forwards, putt scrum-half, Tammy in an excellent position to score.
In the second half, Lichfield again caught LSH off guard with an overlap giving them a second try, but the home team refused to give up and centre Valmai Robert beat five defenders in a 50-metre run to the line.
However, LSH began to tire and in injury time Lichfield managed to grab two tries to give them the game.
