A DISABLED man who had already had three heart attacks tried to beat out flames with his slipper after a petrol bomb was hurled through his front door.
Peter Walsh, of Whitendale Crescent, Blackburn, suffered from angina and was in bed when the arsonists struck at about 9pm.
