A THIEF ransacked a pensioner's front room after conning his way into her home in Dearden Fold, Bury, on Saturday afternoon (Jan 13).
The man claimed he was a water tester to gain access to the property. He escaped with £60 in cash.
The offender was white, in his 30s, 5ft 3ins tall with short black hair. He was wearing a dark anorak.
Anyone who saw the man in the area at the time of the burglary should contact Bury CID on 856 8150, quoting reference GMP13662a/01.
