READING recent letters from the local Conservative Party representatives I cannot say I was impressed by their negative attitudes. Nowhere did they offer any indication of the solutions that their party would make for the shortcomings in education, law and order and the health service that they attribute to the present administration.

It would appear to me that the two main parties are more interested in point scoring than in the wellbeing of the electorate. The only party which has not been put to the test is the Liberals and maybe, seeing the appalling mess that the other two have made, they should be given a chance.

So, come on political letter-writers, stop backbiting and start being constructive.
