POLICE are hunting a boy who viciously attacked a girl in front of her house in Ribbleton, Preston.

Around 7.30pm on Thursday January 11, a 20-year-old woman was mending a fence in the rear garden of her home in Ingleton Road, when a man pushed her to the ground and kicked her in the face and ribs.

He was wearing trainers and dark coloured trousers.

At around 1.30pm on Monday January 8 a youth walked into the Preston Telecom shop, in Friargate, and stole a Orange Nokia 8210E mobile phone -- serial number 8944 122093300385688 -- valued at £280.

The thief is described as a white male, aged 15 years with short, light brown hair with blond streaks.

He was wearing a beige Reebok sweatshirt and blue Adidas tracksuit trousers.

At 9pm on Monday January 8 a man was using his Nokia 3310 mobile phone on St Austins Road, Preston, when a man rode up on a red mountain bike, snatched his phone and rode off.

The man is described as Afro-Caribbean, medium build with very short hair and wearing light coloured tracksuit bottoms, dark sweatshirt and white trainers.

Sometime during the evening of Sunday January 7, a number of youths caused £300 worth of damage to two greenhouses at the rear of a house in Herbert Street, Leyland.

The three youngsters are aged between 10 and 14 years of age and of slim build. One of the youths was wearing a grey top with three or four white hoops across the chest.

Between 9pm and 10pm on Wednesday January 10 two bikes were stolen from outside a house in Broadfield Drive, Leyland.

The two Banshee Downhill Mountain bikes, one with a red flash and one with a green flash, are valued at £475 and £500.
