RMI'S key central defender Jamie Udall will miss the rest of the season. Udall damaged a knee in an FA Cup tie at Scarborough back in October and has not played since despite several attempts to resume full training.
Initially it was thought Udall had suffered minor cartilage damage but an exploratory operation in the past week has revealed a cruciate ligament injury.
The 25 year old joined Leigh from Lancaster City in the summer and had made an impressive start to his Conference career.
