THE longest lasting lightbulb in Britain has finally gone out after illuminating a shop toilet for 70 years. The distinctively shaped 25 watt Edison has lit up, if that's the right expression, the gents since 1930. Things really were made to last in those days, but I've got bulbs in the loo and bedroom at home I haven't changed in 16 years. Anyone got anywhere near a lifetime challenge?
