OFFICIALS at Wigan Pier are looking for volunteers to act as tour guides around the landmark museum. They want people with an interest in local heritage to act as tour guides, give talks and to answer questions from the general public.
Carole Tyldesley, Wigan Pier manager said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for people to get involved."
Those interested, aged between 18 and 75, should contact Debby Hill, Volunteer Co-ordinator on 702495.
