A NEW advice line has been set up for school governors. GovernorLine was launched on January 9 and will offer information and professional support across all aspects of school life. The new support line has been set up because governing bodies have grown under successive governments. Now governors are expected to take on responsibilities that require specific skills.The new advice line is now open to the 370,000 governors in England on 08000 722 181.
