A MOTORIST had a lucky escape when his car careered out of control and overturned outside a Bury restaurant last night.
David Fisher suffered a cut to his wrist and shock when his Peugeot 306 clipped a metal bollard outside the Est! Est! Est! Italian restaurant in Manchester Road shortly after 9pm.
Mr Fisher, aged 37, of Harrow Close, Bury, had be cut free from the wreckage by firefighters after the car overturned.
He was taken to Bury General Hospital for treatment. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.
