FANCY a date with Foxy Roxi ... well your dream could come true!

A promoter is launching a "Blind Date with a difference" in East Lancashire where contestants can win a dinner date with a glamour model including Foxy, pictured above.

Les Miller, of Encore Promotions Ltd, said if the "Eyes Wide Open" evening is a success he will take the show to other venues in the north west. He has modelled the format of the hit ITV show Blind Date.

The girls, known only as Vikki, Mary and Foxy Roxi, are all from the Blackburn area and the show will be held at Queens Park Working Men's Club, in Audley Range, Blackburn on Friday, February 16. The contestants will be chosen from a raffle which they will automatically enter when they buy their ticket plus a series of eliminators.

Les, from Preston, said: "People will be eliminated from drinking a pint of beer the slowest or singing the worse on the karaoke. The winner will then get to ask the girls three questions from behind a screen and then go on a dinner date with the one he chooses."

Foxy Roxi, 21, from Shadsworth Road, Blackburn, applied for the real Blind Date two years ago but was knocked back. She said: "Maybe this will be the next best thing."

Tickets are available by calling 07951 255 169.
