A 33-year-old Lowton man will appear at Bolton Crown Court next Tuesday facing Section 18 charges of wounding and theft following an incident in which a security guard was injured at Sainsbury's Leigh store.
Bryan Hughes of Pond Street, Lowton was remanded in custody on Wednesday after being committed to Crown Court when he appeared before Leigh magistrates.
