A PROUD Hindley Green mum can show off her baby . . . born in the maternity vroom! Melanie Gallagher, 29, gave birth to 5lb Jay in hubby Geoff's BMW as they dashed to Billinge Hospital.
The couple set off from their home on the 12-mile trip to the maternity hospital after Melanie began labour leaving elder son Brad with a neighbour. But they were still a few minutes from the hospital when baby Jay made his appearance.
