MEMBERS of the English National Ballet were given a warm welcome to St Helens when they presented workshops at nine local schools.
The theme of the workshops was the ballet, 'Giselle' which the company, currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, has been performing at the Palace Theatre, Mancheste.
Pupils at Allanson Street Primary, Parr; St Peter's CE Primary School, Newton-le-Willows; Broadway Community High School, Grange Park; Haydock High School; Garswood Primary; Eccleston Mere Primary; Sutton Community High; De la Salle High, Eccleston; Newton Nursery School took part in the workshops.
