TALKING TACTICS:
UNITED boss Neil Warnock decided to stick a man-marker on Rovers dangerman Eyal Berkovic and it worked a treat as the little Israeli struggled to find the time and space to hurt the visitors. Graeme Souness tried to counter that by changing formations three times within the course of the game but that failed to break the Blades stubborn resistance.
MATT Jansen's shot cannoning back off the post. Had that gone in, Rovers would have been 2-0 up and virtually home and dry
BOTH goals came from set-pieces on the right. The first was all about the quality of Alan Mahon's delivery but United's equaliser could have been avoided had it not been for a rare mistake by Henning Berg
