PUPILS at St John Southworth Primary School in Nelson will mark the end of their European Week with a visit from local MP Gordon Prentice tomorrow..
The MP said: "It is now accepted we are very much a part of the European Union. It is great the children are given the opportunity to learn more about the countries on their doorstep. I am looking forward to seeing what the children have done this week. I know they have been working hard and I am sure they will have learned a lot about their 'neighbours.' Knowing how particular children can be about food I will be especially interested to find out what European delicacies they have been tasting."
