THERE may be fears that the Grand National may suffer from the poor turnout because of foot and mouth crisis but it was a case of 'crisis, what crisis?' at a horse racing event last night.
For it was a full house at a race night held by the Rotary Club of Accrington at Mytton Fold Hotel in Langho.
The thrills of racing were re-created with miniature races, with punters betting on the outcome.
All the money is being passed on to local charities.
Among those attending the event were the Mayor and Mayoress of of Hyndburn, Couns Doug and Sandra Hayes.
