LANCASTER Castle is holding a series of events to mark he Easter period.
On Wednesday, April 11 and 18 there will be special Children's Hours at 11am and 2pm. Admission is £2.50 and all children attending will receive a free gift and their will be a special prize for the child in the best historical costume.
On Saturday, April 14 at 7pm an evening tour entitled 'Our Country's Good' explores the history of transportation from Lancashire. Tickets are £4 for adults, £3 for students and senior citizens and £2.50 for children.
On Wednesday April 18 at 7.30pm a 'Saints and Sinners' tour looks at the story of witchcraft, religious persecution and martyrdom in the County Palatine of Lancaster.
The castle is open to visitors every day from 10 to 5pm, with guided tours from 10.30 to 4pm.
