A CAMPAIGN against juvenile nuisance issues in Oswaldtwistle has led to 21 youngsters being locked up.
Police have spent the last three Friday nights patrolling Union Road, asking youngsters to behave.
Those who haven't have been taken to Accrington Police Station and locked up until their parents collect them.
So far, 21 have been taken off the streets.
Sgt Ian Hanson said: "The message is that we will give youngsters a chance, but if they continue to step out of line, we will come down on them hard."
