LEIGH East Tigers Under 11s went down 22-10 to a strong Wigan St Pat's side.
Man of the match Lyndon Robertson scored twice, once in each half, as the Tigers pushed St Pat's all the way. The most improved award went to Daniel Blakeley.
Against a newly-formed Culcheth team, the Tigers put up a solid show.
Try scorers for the Tigers were Ryan Wignall (2), Adam Maguire (2), Iain Jolley (2), Daniel Weaving, Daniel Blakeley, Karl Morris and Robert Tickle with goals from Daniel Hunter, Ben Taylor, Mark Williams, Chris Penn and Thomas Ashton.
The man of the match awards went to Daniel Blakeley and Ryan Wignall with the most improved award going to Daniel Hunter.
