TIME Computers employees were in their element as they took part in a unique training morning at Blackburn Rovers' training ground.
Staff from the blues sponsors faced each other in a nine-a-side match at Brockhall after coaching from Rovers' reserve coach Terry Darracott.
Terry did not allow the heavy rain to spoil the day by encouraging the players with some light-hearted banter on the field inspiring the lads.
Terry said: "The training session was a welcome relief for me. It enabled me to have a change from the seriousness of being a reserve team coach.
"The day in a life of a professional is tough, it's a seven-day-a-week job. If the lads are not playing or training then they are watching games to help improve their own performance.
"One of the main points in football is for players of any ability to enjoy the game."
The players were overwhelmed.
Paul Towler, 19 of Hodder Street, Blackburn who works at Time Computers head office in Simonstone, said: "It was an excellent personal achievement for me as I play for Great Harwood FC and to play at a First Division training ground and to win the Best Player award made me feel really proud.
"Terry Darracott was a great inspiration as I was gaining knowledge from a professional coach which I was thankful for."
To finish off the day in a true professionals' style the lads were given a farewell hand shake from Graeme Souness.
