IFULLY agree with E M Harwood (Letters, March 26). I and five members of my family paid to go on a computer course. After a full day's work we went to Blackburn College and spent two hours a week for 30 weeks learning computing.
I was infuriated to read about free computers being provided for residents of Whitebirk, etc, in Blackburn, by the Government.
If these people can't be bothered to go to college for the free courses which are provided for them, why should we have to pay for them to have computers in their homes?
Is it to ensure Labour gets their votes?
