A 12-year-old schoolgirl from Radcliffe needed hospital treatment after she was in collision with a car while running for a bus.
Rachel Poole from Dukes Street suffered bruising when she ran into the path of an oncoming Citroen ZX in Manchester Road, Bury, on Monday afternoon (April 2).
The Citroen was being driven by Mr David Evans (29) of James Street, also in Radcliffe.
Rachel later admitted to traffic police that she was preoccupied with catching her bus when she ran across the road.
She was taken to Bury General Hospital for treatment and allowed to return home later that evening.
