INVESTIGATIONS are continuing in to the death of a 20-year-old Nelson man whose body was found next to the railway tracks at Nelson Station.
British Transport Police are not disclosing his identity until relatives are informed.
PC Richard Herbert said: "There will be an inquest into the death and it may be that his name is not released until then when it becomes a public matter."
Officers appealed for information from anyone who was in the vicinity of the station between Tuesday tea-time and 9.41am on Wednesday when his body was discovered.
The man was white and wearing black clothing.
