IT'S a case of "lights, camera, action!" for Preston as they travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley for the local derby match.

The game will be screened live on Sky TV and could see North End consolidate their position in the division's play-off places.

Following the lifeless 0-0 draw with Gillingham -- coupled with Burnley's 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Blackburn Rovers on Sunday -- Preston should be confident of picking up three points in a derby tie which is usually a fiery and passionate encounter.

At their lasting meeting at Deepdale in December, North End came from a goal down to win 2-1, despite a superbly taken first-half goal from Clarets' striker Ian Moore.

And in spite of a mediocre performance from a below-par Preston on Saturday against the Gills, North End fans will feel confident of a three-pointer against Burnley who have been struggling recently.

Preston will travel to Turf Moor with a more-or-less injury-free squad.

Loan striker Richard Cresswell should to be ruled fit for Friday following a short illness and skipper Sean Gregan looks set to captain the side again after shaking off a knock to his achilles.

FANS attending the Watford home game on Sunday, April 22nd should keep their tickets as, coupled with the ticket from the Crewe home game, they may be used for priority booking at the end of the season or for play-off games if applicable.

Fans who are not season ticket holders or shareholders, but who have both, or one or other of the Crewe or Watford tickets may receive priority over and above other supporters for future games.

North End chief executive Tony Scholes said: "We are conscious that demand for tickets over the next two months may well exceed supply for home supporters. This is because of the reduced capacity following the closure of the Town End and the increasing interest in our games with a place in the play-offs a real possibility."

THE match at Crewe on Saturday April 28th, is all ticket for North End Supporters. They have been allocated 1,640 seats. Prices are £14.00 for adults and £11.00 for OAPs and £3.50 for juveniles. There are also tickets at £10 for wheelchair-bound supporters with the carer going for free.

Tickets go on sale on April 9 for season ticket holders. In the event of any remaining, they will go on general sale at 9.00 am on April 17. The ticket office will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday but will be open as normal until 7.00 pm on Thursday 12th April.

Fans with match tickets for the Blackburn game that are for the Town End need to exchange these tickets as soon as possible for tickets in another part of the ground.
