HIT and run victim Thomas Wilson, who a callous driver left lying injured on a pelican crossing, returned to school this week. Tough Thomas, aged nine, from Bond Street , Leigh returned to St Joseph's Primary School after recovering from a fractured leg following the January accident in Chapel Street, Leigh.
But the Leigh RMI junior soccer player faces a longer wait before he returns to the pitch. Well-wishers from The Standard Mower pub where his mum, Lisa, works are delighted with the youngsters' progress.
