Bolton are sweating on the fitness of Paul Warhust as they bid to keep stop their promotion challenge going completely off the rails.
Midfield man Warhurst was injured during Wanderers midweek home draw against Stockport County. And there are fears that the former Rovers man could be out for the season let alone tomorrow's trip to Crewe.
The good news for Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is that his side are away from the Reebok -- they have failed to win there in the League since January 13.
With Bolton trailing Blackburn in the hunt for Division One's second automatic promotion place Allardyce knows a win at Gresty Road is vital. And he has set his side the demanding task of six wins and one draw from their remaining seven games.
He will be able to welcome back leading scorer Michael Ricketts, who missed the last two games because of suspension.
And he may well bring back Per Frandsen into the fold -- he wasn't even on the bench against Stockport -- if the news on Warhurst is bad.
