BACUP Borough's Second Division Trophy final has been provisionally set for Thursday April 19.
They will play either Squires Gate or Formby in the final at Skelmersdale after beating Daisy Hill 3-2 at West View on Tuesday night.
Manager Brent Peters hopes that hundreds of fasn will travel from the town to support his side in their first ever cup final.
"We will be laying on coaches and we want as many people to come with us and support us as possible," said Peters. "This is a massive game for Bacup Borough." Bacup haven't won silverware in 54 years since winning the Lancashire Combination in 1947.
They meet Bootle at home tomorrow and Peters says there is still plenty to play for in the league.
"If we were to win every game between now and the end of the season -- and that is a big if -- we would get 74 points. Last season we finished fifth with 71 points so it is important we get as many points as possible.
"You never know whether teams' grounds are going to be good enough to go up so we ned to get as high as we can."
