LINDSAY Hoyle has called upon his Parliamentary colleagues to support Lancashire's tourist attractions this Easter despite the foot and mouth outbreaks in the area.
The Labour MP wants fellow politicians to visit the range of attractions around his Chorley constituency.
He names Rivington Hall Barn, historic Astley Hall and park, Camelot theme park, Cedar Farm, Hoghton Tower, Botany Bay, historic Croston, and the Leeds Liverpool Canal as suitable destinations.
But Mr Hoyle, backed by four other MPs from all over Britain, says there are many more attractions and hopes MPs of all parties will encourage their constituents to head to Lancashire and "show that the tourist industry is open for business."
