Reserves at Morecambe AS we predicted in this column a fortnight ago, Rovers have now confirmed they will play the rest of their 'home' reserve games at Morecambe's Christie Park.

The outstanding fixtures against Sunderland on Wednesday April 18 and Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday May 8 have now been switched from Ewood to the Nationwide Conference ground.

And Rovers will wrap up their reserve campaign by entertaining Leed United at Christie Park on Monday, May 14.

Why not go along and give the lads your support. It's a great little set-up and the chippy outside the ground isn't too bad, either. Francis watching FORMER Queens Park Rangers boss Gerry Francis was at Ewood on Wednesday night to cast his eye over Graeme Souness's promotion chasers ahead of today's match at Loftus Road. Goal of the season DON'T forget to keep the entries flooding in for our Rovers 'goal of the season' competition.

Graeme Souness has picked out his top eight goals of the season and we're asking you to vote for the best.

The scorer of the one with the most votes will then be presented with the Peter White Memorial Trophy before the final home game of the season.

Any fans who pick the same top three as Souey will also go into a draw for a signed Rovers shirt -- kindly donated by the club.

The goals will be shown again on Rovervision before next week's home game with Fulham.

Or you can also check out the official club website for further details.

So get voting, folks. Derby thumping LAST weekend's 5-0 thumping of Burnley was Rovers' biggest derby win since the season of 1929-30.

I know of at least two fans who successfully bet on the correct score at odds of 40-1.

But I wonder if anyone out there put a fiver on Craig Short to score first in a 5-0 victory -- now that really would have been Roy of the Rovers stuff. Moore double blow THE answer to last week's teaser 'which current Burnley player had already lost at Ewood this season' was of course Ian Moore.

Mooro played for Stockport when Craig Hignett stepped up to curl home one of his trade-mark free kicks to seal a dramatic 2-1 win.

This week's question is: Who was named as Rovers' man of the match in their Full Members Cup final victory over Charlton?

If you want a clue, he's a former England Under 21 international.
