A 40-year-old man was 'dishevelled' and covered in snow when police were called to a house in Burnley.
The town's magistrates court heard how Alan McGowan was abusive and aggressive and told officers it was nothing to do with them.
The defendant, of Venice Avenue, Burnley, was bound over in the sum of £100, for 12 months.
Julie Reddish, prosecuting, said police were called to Hurstwood Avenue, Burnley, after receiving a report from a woman who had complained about the defendant's behaviour towards her.
McGowan was drinking from a can, another was on a wheelie bin and an empty can was on the ground.
Officers spoke to the defendant who was aggressive and abusive and told them: "Its nothing to do with you. Its between me and her." He was dishevelled, covered in snow and gesticulating and was arrested after police tried to stop him entering the property. The woman had retracted her complaint.
