REMPLOY's packaging site at Burnley pulled out all the stops to meet a vital deadline for internet service provider, Padiham-based Supanet.com.

Although they are only a few miles apart, it was fate that brought the two companies together.

Supanet approached a consultant in Norwich about producing 60,000 CD sleeves and inserting CDs and an instruction leaflet.

The consultant also happened to be the independent editor of the house magazine of Remploy, the UK's largest employer of disabled people.

Remploy put together a competitive deal. The 60,000 CD sleeves were printed at Remploy Norwich and rushed over to the Burnley site for the contract packing work to be undertaken.

Julie Gordon, Marketing Manager for Supanet.com, was delighted with the quality of the work which appeared on the front cover of computer magazine, "Internet Explained".

"Remploy packaging provided an excellent all-round service and, in hitting our deadline, made up lost time which they were not responsible for. We are very pleased and certainly aim to use them again when the next opportunity arises."
