PENDLE MP Gordon Prentice went back to school, joining children at St John Southworth RC primary school as part of European Week.
Every class took part in an activity associated with a different European country.
Mr Prentice said: "It is now accepted we are very much a part of the European Union.
"It is great the children are given an opportunity to learn more about the countries on their doorstep."
He said the children had worked learning more about their European neighbours, their customs and their food.
