PLANS to change a piece of land to the west side of Deer Park Garage, Gisburn, to create a parking area for 12 coaches have been given the go-ahead by Ribble Valley Council's planning committee.
The proposal includes removing the topsoil from the area and replacing it with concrete or Tarmac.
Conditions attached to approval include widening the western access, boundary landscaping to be implemented in the first planting season following occupation and maintained for five years, parking coaches only on the site shown on the plans, keeping any obstructions, other than the pump islands, clear of the front of the garage buildings and up to the highway' s edge. These conditions include parked vehicles for repair and storage.
