A NEW course of the good dog training classes at Bacup Leisure Hall will start on April 19.
A planned presentation of certificates and awards for successful dogs and their owners from the last course should have taken place this week but was postponed because of the foot and mouth crisis.
Mr East said: "We suspended the training sessions voluntarily for three weeks but then got permission from the Ministry to carry on.
"Attendance has dropped by about half because many of the people who take part live in the rural areas.
"We now have permission to start the new course and anyone interested can contact me on 01706 244552."
