IT'S no good the Tories kicking and screaming over the loss of the pound.
The 'pound' was well and truly lost in the Seventies. Pounds, shillings, pence, farthings, halfpennies, threepenny bits, sixpences, shillings, florins, halfcrowns, ten bob notes all went out the window -- the pound's eventual death was planned from then. Time to finish the job.
