TWO youngsters were taken on a tour of Burnley Fire Station and presented with Blaze the Bear teddies after winning a colouring competition.
Isabelle Connolly, three, and Kurt Aldred, eight, were able to sit in one of the fire appliances as they were shown round by Station Officer Ian Potter.
The competition was part of a fire safety week held in conjunction with ASDA at the Princess Way store.
Mr Potter said: "The whole point of the exercise was to increase public awareness of fire safety issues.
"And it has proved to be a very successful campaign."
