VISITORS to Towneley Hall and park, Burnley, joined in a nursery rhyme family fun day.
The event was held in conjunction with an exhibition at the hall: "The Mares Tale", a touring display of sculptures, paintings, prints, textiles and animation on the theme of nursery rhymes.
Work on show is by five contemporary artists, Marjan Wouda, Adrienne Craddock, Matty de Vries, Sue Smith and Laura Knight.
They have illustrated nursery rhymes from England, Ireland, the Netherlands, India and Pakistan.
The exhibition, which runs until July 14 includes simple animations in the form of flip books.
